Our Love Story
What began as a simple message asking about scholarships turned into a love story neither of us saw coming. From the beginning, something special began to grow. In December 2021, Bintang asked Anin to be his girlfriend. Though separated by oceans—he in Taiwan, she in Indonesia—we chose to believe in the quiet magic between us.
Many doubted the strength of a long-distance love, but we held on. On October 15th, 2022, we finally met in person for the first time, and in that moment, every mile we had crossed melted away. Though we had to part again, our hearts remained steady, waiting for the day we’d no longer have to say goodbye.
That moment arrived in January 2024, when Anin moved to Taiwan to pursue her master’s degree at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. For the first time, we were truly side by side. We started to see each other every weekend. Together, we wandered and explored the beauty of Taiwan, from quiet villages to bustling cities, from mountain tops to ocean shores, collecting memories we had once only imagined. On January 20th, beneath the glowing lights of Taipei 101, Bintang gave Anin a promise ring and whispered his dream of forever.
A year later, on January 26th, surrounded by the love of our family and friends, Bintang proposed and Anin said yes. Now, with hearts full of gratitude and love that’s traveled far, we’re ready to begin our forever.
And so, with joy in our hearts, we invite you to be part of this special moment, to witness the day we say I do, and celebrate the love that has carried us through time, distance, and dreams.
We chose each other every day, even when it wasn’t easy. And now, we are choosing to share forever.
